Fun Computer Club! is on again this term – so if you’d like your child to participate NOW is the time to reserve their place.
Help set your kids up for their digital futures with Fun Computer Club!
This is a fun-filled course for students to increase their skills and learn invaluable skills to enable them to effectively and visually communicate their ideas to others. They’ll create fantastic visual imagery using their imagination.
Fun Computer Club! caters to all computer skills and levels, so if you’d like your child to focus on a particular skill or software or have any questions contact us. Open to grades 1 – 6.
Fun Computer Club is limited to 10 students – so that your child can explore their own interests with individual attention. Students can choose to learn new skills in:
– Pivot Animator – produce lively, colourful animations with sound effects
– Adobe Flash – learn to animate using “motion tweening”, “shape tweening” morphs, and more
– Adobe Photoshop – learn to edit their own photos and build new images like the professionals
– Adobe Illustrator – learn to paint and draw cute illustrations
– Photo Stories – create visual stories with effects using Movie Maker
– Presentations – use text, images and symbols
– Web Sites – build pages with text, videos, images, galleries and slideshows
It is lots of FUN! And they’ll learn a lot building on their existing skills.
This will assist students to expand their digital literacy skills – this is something that will certainly impact them positively – by setting them up for their futures in the digital world they will be entering. Support them in excelling at school as they move through their education. These computer skills are an invaluable foundation.
Term 2 Course Dates: Thursdays 15 May – 26 June
Duration: 7 weeks
Time: 3.15 – 4.30pm.
