Make Your Own Movies – 8 week computer art course Term 4 Randwick School – Now taking bookings

Hi Parents,

I  know your students have been waiting for the return of the popular animation course (my apologies that there wasn’t a course last term – I was unable to run it due to interstate visits and the death of my father).  Now I have good news!  I will be running the course again this term. As past students of Mind Creativity: art workshops for kids – I am giving you advanced notice of this exciting opportunity – so you can get in early and secure a place for your student.
This course will extend on last term’s course. Students will select a project idea and create a storyboard. They’ll produce a number of scenes using different background images in Pivot Stickfigure Animator. Next they’ll have the opportunity to produce a multimedia video by using Windows MovieMaker to compile:
  • a number of their pivot stickfigure animation scenes
  • sound effects and voice recordings
  • and other visual elements
It will be lots of FUN! And they will learn a lot expanding on their previously learned animations skills.
Let me know if your student would like to book in. I’m looking forward to seeing your child again and assisting them to expand their digital literacy skills – this is something that will certainly impact them positively –  by setting them up for their futures in the digital world they will be entering.
See the animation examples – which were produced by some of my other students from another school.
BOOK NOW!  Limited to 10 students only. Contact me now leah@mindcreativity.net
